On July 16th 2016, Supreme Athlete hosted its 4th annual charity alumni flag football tourney. This year it was held at Chesley Park in New Britain, CT. The hosting city team was the New Britain Hurricanes alumni who won last year’s tourney at Windsor HS field. The tournament objective is to highlight a male/female student athlete from the winning alumni team and present them with a book scholarship award. This year’s winner was Ronnie Watson, a NBHS graduate who will be attending Barry University in Miami, FL. Ronnie was a phenomenal student-athlete while at NBHS as he received honors in all of his classes and was a part of the R.O.T.C program.
As predicted the year before, the winner of the flag tournament was Hard Hittin New Britain Hurricanes. These guys swept everyone convincingly and seemed to enjoy every minute of it. On behalf of the entire Supreme staff we would like to give a major shout to the city of New Britain for showing great hospitality and of course those alumni Hurricanes for a job well done.
