Empowering others, giving back to the community, and spreading knowledge, peace, and love are a few of the reasons Supreme Philanthropy teamed up with Winner’s Circle and AllXity for the 2nd ‘Annual Break Bread + Build’ Community Feast.

The event took place on November 21st, 2015 in the North End of Hartford at the Parker Memorial Center. We kicked off the morning with a high school presentation for the student athletes. It was an honor to have June Archer, Mario Florez, Ray Porter, and Andrew Schwapp as the guest speakers for the event. The men offered their wisdom and inspiration to our babies. The impact of their words hold value for the successful men and women our babies will grow to be down the road! We also got the chance to hear live performances and music from local CT artists and DJ’s: Rashawn ‘Pup’ Asberry, Ron ‘Ace’ Brown, ‘AnoydAshon ‘chewy’ AventDJ Lovher, and DJ Big Regg. We appreciate Mayor Luke Bronin and members from Hartford Police department and fire department showing their support and coming out!

Throughout the event the organizations members and community volunteers fed hundreds of men, women, and children in attendance. The event was entirely free to the public. This would not have been possible if it wasn’t for our sponsors providing food and donations! Our sponsors include: Uncle Biggs BBQ, RW Poppy’s Catering, Tava Catering, HESP Union, Primerica, Lilly’s Soul Food, Baby Jay’s Smoke house catering & spices, Inland Properties Maneeley’s Wilson Pizza, Red Carpet Barber Shop, Skyline Restaurant, Pennine Pasta Sauce Maneeley’s Blue Hills Civic Association. We appreciate you and humbly thank you for your contributions!

Somehow, the gift of giving to others creates a ripple effect by positively affecting those it reaches. Watching people come together was rewarding on every level. This is why we do what we do here at Supreme Philanthropy our mission is to create positive change within the community. From serving food, to setting up the event, to donating canned goods, helping clean up, or simply being in attendance we couldn’t have done this without the volunteers!

Supreme Philanthropy is beyond thankful for every amazing individual who reached out to help make this vision come to life! Overall it was a memorable experience. We hope to continue this

event every year as it grows in numbers and brings people together!
