Recognizing the Importance of Finding Affordable Ways to Pay for College!

The financial aid process can be complex. Yet it is a necessary component in order to  receive the government loans and grant money available to college attendance costs. Part of our focus within Supreme Education is to mentor our members in such a way that ensures each individual who belongs to our organization will be given the opportunity to attend college.

Supreme Education offers student’s academic development, a structured environment, a supportive and committed staff at affordable costs. We emphasize the importance of encouraging our members to be well rounded individuals in all aspects of their life. Our organization offers two scholarship awards for members who meet the requirements. We also aid our members in researching athletic and academic scholarships. Often times, these resources are available at your son or daughters high school guidance office. Scholarships are earned and essentially free money to help pay for tuition. It is important to apply for scholarships and financial aid loans and grants to receive maximum aid.

Supreme strongly believes in the future of our members. For parents and current high school students going through the college application and preparation process, we advise you to view recent and upcoming changes being made to the FASFA:

– Recent FASFA changes have been designed to target a broader range of students within the population, including lower income citizens.

– Those applying can now access their taxes filed from the previous year electronically by using the ‘tax retrieval tool’. This allows you to receive information directly from the IRS. This improves speed and accuracy of getting the application processed as quickly as possible. No more estimating or guessing, just to go back and make corrections.

– President Obama has renewed his call to congress to eliminate approximately 30 burdensome questions on the FASFA to simplify the application.

– President Obama has also made student loans more affordable by cutting interest rates, as well as doubling investments in college scholarships by expanding the government Pell Grant. (free money)

– Beginning October 1st, 2016 students can now apply for the FASFA in alignment with their college application submission. (In previous years FASFA application was not available to apply for until January 1st)
