Within our mission is the importance of giving back to OUR community. On Tuesday August 25, 2015 we had the honor of teaming up with the Winner’s Circle Strong Community and Senator Coleman to deliver over 180 book bags to the students of Hartford. We began our morning with (2) first grade classrooms at Milner Elementary School. The boys and girls met us with such joy. Their shyness slowly went away with each handshake and well wish exchanged. We then made our way to Fred D Wish Elementary School where we had the opportunity to meet a fifth grade class. These young kings and queens were so thankful for their book bags. They vowed to work hard everyday at achieving academic success. Our last stop for the day was Clark Elementary School. We were able to ensure that 25 students would have the academic tools they needed to have a successful school year.

This year we were very fortunate to be able to also donate to The Department of Child Services, Wilson-Gray YMCA and several local families in need. Being a part of this event was a humbling experience for our staff. Nothing feels better than being able to get out into the community and live within our mission. Academic success is the most valuable achievement that any student can obtain. We are proud to say that this event was a success and we look forward to being apart of this event again next year!
